TUNBRIDGE CACHE ASSEMBLED

Things move about and when they're resilient they often find themselves together somewhere and embedded with stories and narratives. The thing about collections is that they are much more than a collection of 'things'. Rather, they are an expression of values and aspirations. In the end, life is but a collection of stories and the journey collecting them up.

  1. We have been setting up a second household in Tunbridge Tasmania since 2006.
We decided to bring very little with us from Queensland.
Like we migrated to a tiny island and had to start from scratch.
Slowly we found and gathered together useful articles.
Rather than use modern items we focused on (found) articles.
No plastics thanks, we have found old willow pegs, old handmade baskets, old second hand blankets,
old useable tools, old useful furniture & seats etc.
All items must match the c1850 colonial shop and residence we are renovating, in Tunbridge.
